Rendering Performance Engineer

Own performance profiling, frame-time analysis, and practical optimization work across our rendering stack.

Responsibilities:

  • profile runtime rendering, animation playback, input latency, and asset loading paths;
  • build lightweight diagnostics for FPS, frame spikes, memory usage, and runtime regressions;
  • turn profiling results into concrete changes in renderer, data formats, and tool workflows;
  • define repeatable benchmarks and performance budgets for production builds.

Requirements:

  • solid experience optimizing frontend, graphics, or game runtime performance;
  • confidence with browser devtools, performance traces, flame charts, and frame timelines;
  • ability to separate real bottlenecks from visual noise and premature optimization;
  • clear written communication around measurements, risks, and expected impact.

Nice to have:

  • experience with WebGL, canvas, animation-heavy UI, or game engine profiling;
  • experience building internal performance dashboards or regression checks;
  • familiarity with mobile browser constraints and thermal throttling behavior.
